the funny thing is that my first cousins who are from greece actually prefer the american accent and said it’s easier to understand than the british accent, and they all want to come to visit the usa (additional context/info dump: the british one is my second cousin, my papou’s brothers emigrated to england when they were starting adulthood… then my dad moved to the usa in the late 90s, all of my first cousins are greek)
