I think I’m avoiding work and now have to pull an all nighter because of my OCD. I had a 4 day weekend and guess what got done 3 pages of a book bc I need to take notes on every little thing and had to reread!!! I’m done literally. Wyd do I do now?

Throw on the Harry Potter series, kick it back w a sharp scented candle like citrus or eucalyptus, Celsius, crack out those tasks and then delegate a nap cycle to help balance it before work

make it into a game. reshape the way u think of what u need to know. ofc the little facts are important, but you just rlly need to know what’s being argued or just main point generally. act like a little spy, do ur readings whenever wherever & have multiple ways to take notes wherever (i have my ipad, a pocket size & big notebook, my phone). if u need to know specific info like flash card vocab type, then keep a visual reminder of the words if there is on nearby. also if u have multiple books go

like 15 mins @ one & 15 mins on another. even if it seems like a small amount it’s gonna keep ur mind more focused if ur attention constantly drifts, esp w intrusive thoughts. idk ik studying for me is a whole proooccess bc of my stuff & keeping my attention or always available for notes has helped at least somewhat🫩
