Fun fact: while tons of consumer facing sources talk about implantation bleeding, it’s not actually a thing. No study has found evidence that implantation causes bleeding, and not for lack of researching it. The blastocyst is tiny and doesn’t disrupt enough endometrial cells to cause bleeding. Early pregnancy bleeding is caused by hormonal shifts, which means it will be accompanied by a positive test.
don’t know! since we used condoms before my IUD and I still had a constant fear of it unknowingly breaking or being the unlucky .9% or something like that. like, i still want to take a plan b afterwards every time (i know how unsafe that is. I want to to calm my anxiety) there wasn’t an overlap. besides, i got the IUD for several reasons — one of them being a possible solution to the (sounds bullshit, but isn’t) problem of my partner having inconsistent erections while using condoms
I know it’s just anxiety — thank you for validating me and assisting too. I have thought about the pulling out strategy as well, but my mind insists on telling me that the precum still hold chances of implantation! besides, we both don’t think pulling out is in our book of interest. It’s a risky game for the current climate, but alas
