idk what is going on but there is something wrong with kindergarteners this year like I have never been so argued with or disrespected by kindergarteners like this before

ITS THE PARENTS ‼️‼️‼️ as an educator myself i see so many parents be completely disengaged with their children. they do not talk to them, they don’t read to them, they don’t do anything besides feed and clothe kids. so the kids have no relationship skills! it’s ridiculous and so disheartening

a few weeks ago i met a 6(?) year old kid who didn’t know his colors or abcs, and couldn’t hold a basic ass conversation. and all his mom did was yell at him and tell him to shut up. like damn
