
it’s a beautiful thing, but it’s not an achievement. now if it’s an achievement to you, great but not what we should be teaching girls as a whole. because that’s suggesting the opposite is a failure, which leads to centering men and that’s how you get the pathetic posts you see in here.
it can be an achievement to be in a happy fulfilling relationship. i think it’s overkill to say we can’t act like it’s any form of an achievement. centering men comes from years of conditioning and i agree that it’s not an achievement to have a man pick you but we simultaneously shouldn’t shame women out of being happy to be picked or in a relationship. i don’t think that’ll fix how much they center men.
