its bc they have a platform and can use it to get people to donate or just generally educate people. it has nothing to do with what they do its purely their large following

Yeah but they can only educate people if they’re educated, and pressuring random influencers into speaking on something usually doesn’t lead to them getting seriously educated (the fundraisers are different tho) Like, we should definitely support those who do speak our but I don’t want an influencer speaking on something if they don’t properly learn what’s happening
