do you ever feel like people don't like you because you don't study as much as them but still get the same grades as them? lowkey think my roommate doesn't like me bc i have the same grades as her but don't study or act "academic" like her

i feel bad bc she's always writing essays or studying but my major and classes don't require me to write essays or take exams, just do field work, homework, and classwork, which come easy to me, so i don't do work as long as she does and i feel like she's either jealous or think she's better than me for having a major that requires more academic work (mine requires more field work)

My roommates are the same way but my major is like yours I don’t have to utilize essays and exams for my work and learning so it’s easier sure but that’s also just the field I chose and not everyone is gonna have the same major obviously but she shouldn’t take it out on you and it’s not your fault and at the end of the day everyone’s getting a degree so nobody’s better then the other! I’m sorry she feels that way though it’s definitely not fun
