avoid using pesticides on plants or inhumane traps/pest treatment like glue traps, take “military” showers (this one is a little more extreme), use Leaping Bunny for compassionate shopping (non-animal tested products), buy foods with recyclable packaging (ex. canned tomato sauce instead of plastic jar usually contains less preservatives and is cheaper), try to buy locally sourced dairy products from humane farms or make your own dairy free milk (often just need a blender, oats/almonds, and water

the lemon should cancel out the smell, but if you really hate it, you can try using a good dish soap and diluting it with water. palmolive is inexpensive and long lasting. if that’s not working, method is a good sustainable form of store cleaners. they do use plastic packaging, but it’s concentrated so a single bottle lasts much longer
