cheap tattoos are not worth the risk. u gotta invest in something thts gonna be on u forever. better safe than sorry, dont choose a cheap shop just to save $$, find a shop u like with artists u like and save the $$ for what u want

i reccomend going on instagram and looking up shops in ur area. then finding artists that u like and going from there

but also, esp if it’s your first tattoo, it’s worth it to spend the extra money to make sure it’s exactly what you want. i got lucky bc an artist i liked had a flash design that was exactly smth i’d wanted for a long time but otherwise i wouldn’t have done flash
