I agree I think they skimp us out somehow bc I also have to pay for that shit bc my storage is never enough even tho I delete everything

phones will automatically offload stuff onto icloud storage-you can usually see this when you try to watch an old video or something in your camera roll and it has to download first. it’s probably keeping more stuff on your phone so you don’t have to download anything to access it first so the storage fills up faster but if you need it it’ll probably start unloading stuff onto icloud when it fills up any more
