He likes to know where I’m going and when I get home, he wants to go with me places he feels are dangerous, he wants me to get another job so I have more financial freedom, and he also prefers me to dress for modest but doesn’t stop me when I want to wear short shorts and a crop top. I feel like my bf is more protective than controlling but sometimes he can be controlling. Other than the fact that he can be a little controlling my relationship is actually very healthy. I feel like her bf is borderline emotionally abusive towards her and she just deflects whenever I try to bring up my concerns

I listen to him sometimes but only when he has a good point like oh I probably shouldn’t be wearing a crop top and shorts to work otherwise I wear what I want 😊

He’s also ok with me wearing what I want to he just will give me suggestions to wear something else and if I say no I want to wear this he just says ok you look really cute
