Okay I never really did take notes in class but I went all out on the homework to help myself understand. So here’s what I’d do when doing the hw: read over the lecture notes/slides (or use chegg in my case lol) and write out key points. Write out each step of the process in words as you go and try to memorize it. And color coordinating things is also really helpful and it makes it pretty and makes you want to look at it.

I’d never pay attention in class but would spend so long making my hw neat and understandable to me and go through every process and try to understand it as I went.
