for context: we were just packing some boxes into the car and she put her hand on the back of mine to help put a box in (which i was clearly not struggling with) and when i recoiled and started scratching my skin (something i do as a coping response) she asked what was wrong and got very defensive when i told her why, saying she “didn’t even notice” that she touched me and that it wasn’t a big deal please let me know if i’m overreacting, i don’t know if it’s weird to be upset over

people will do that sometimes because they know you hate it and they dont understand and it annoys them. it feel very personal to them when we dont want to be touched. its really shitty
