i will always fight for fat liberation. once fat liberation occurs we will find no need to constantly torture our bodies in a desire to be fit and thin. anti-fat bias is so prevalent throughout our society

Ok yes no one should be shamed for their body and there shouldn’t be bias. But also, when it’s at an unhealthy extent and not just some extra pounds, deciding to lose weight and be healthy can be an act of love for yourself and better your life as long as you do it in a good way. Ofc like starving yourself to be skinny is bad but wanting to lose weight is not torturing your body.

Im a bony ass size 10. I’m never gonna be tiny, I just wanna be free. people don’t realize this will certainly affect them at some point in their lives so being free of this policing womens size benefits everyone

what about it? fat people still deserve clothing that fits and spaces that accommodate them. Fat liberation doesn’t mean advocating for everyone to binge eat. And fat people aren’t always fat because they aren’t healthy

I’m not saying this is what you’re saying but I’ve seen lots of fat liberation that acts like this and that wanting to lose weight is bad

i feel like you’re missing the point of this post and what fat liberation is. Its not the “promotion” of being fat. But its we as a society no longer shaming HAVING fat. And starving and hurting ourselves because we’re told even a size 10 is too big

Yes maybe that’s how it is on the good size but there are plenty of people and influencers like I described in the movement as well so I was just saying

fat people deserve rights regardless of whether they’re healthy, another person’s health is between them and their doctor
