if you can feel a tampon inside you that means it’s been dry for too long, not too large.

none of them should be “too big” unless you have a preexisting medical condition, but having a tampon in without enough fluid is what makes you able to feel it, and that can inhibit the good bacteria that keep your pH and such in check from reproducing
