How was he supposed to know that the child would fly backwards? Most kids can sit on rails and be fine. Sure it wasn’t the best decision but it wasn’t like he sat his child on the rail intending for it to go overboard.

I just read somewhere that she was 4. And anybody at any age on the rail is super unsafe there’s signs.
