Fake it till you make it. You can be anyone u wanna be when meeting people for the first time, nobody knows who you are or what your like. Start conversations first, compliment someone, sit down next to a random person in the dining hall. All of us are human and all of us want friends. If an interaction goes poorly— smile, be polite and let it go! life is so much more fun when you realize you literally can just talk to people about whatever. You got this twin. #spread love and joy

As an introvert, faking it really is the key! Campus is going to be one of the few places it’ll feel easy to make friends as an adult (from my post-grad perspective). Talk to the people in your classes, ask to sit with strangers, then get people to talk about themselves and from there you can find commonalities

Political working groups, art markets, the beach, the bus, parties, events, shows. Just like chillin if someone bums a cig or vice versa

Oh you must live in a city, but also you have to have friends in the area already to be at parties. It’s harder to get started
