My nutritionist told me that I’m only allowed 3 to 4 ounces of protein, so I weigh McDonald’s nuggets. I’m only allowed four nuggets. That’s a kid meal. 😭

Do you have a kidney condition? Just curious, if it’s not too personal

The nuggets aren’t only made of protein so you can prolly have 6

A chicken nugget has 2-3 grams of protein which is around 0.07 oz. Your math doesn’t make sense. I ate 12 oz of chicken thighs and 0.5 lbs of ground beef today and that was around 5oz of protein

I’m having the gastric sleeve, and so we were just talking about what I’d be able to eat after I heal and get back to normal.

If you get a scale and you put the nuggets on it, put the oz settings on it, the amount of nuggets you have, the amount of ounce will go up. So four nuggets equal about 3 to 4 ounces. So my math is correct

I think their nutritionist means protein as the category of food

No I’ve wanted to try them but they’re expensive, and I don’t wanna buy them, and I don’t like them. Because I’ve tried those veggie chicken patties, nasty.

4 oz of chicken nuggets does not equal 4oz of protein. No need to be snarky.

I thought you were referring to the actual amount of protein in the food, but it’s clear now that you were using it to refer to protein rich foods as a whole
