Mention it’s your first time at the gyno and you’re nervous about being seen like that! Ask if they can tell you what they are going to do before they do it. A nurse or assistant will do a brief talk with you and just ask you basics on any medications, procedures allergies the basics. You’ll be given privacy to change into a robe that you put on like a jacket. The gyno with come in, this is a good time to ask about them telling you every action before they do it. The breast exam will be—-

Don’t be afraid to be annoying about things. If you don’t already have a female doc, request one. And if they don’t already have a second person as a chaperone, request one. My experience of the gyno is they will welcome your sense of humor/jokes about the awkwardness, and make it easy to make you laugh. Other than that, the kind of touch at the gyno is pretty clinical
