translation apps go a long way and most messaging apps have built in translators. but i will say it makes things a lot harder if neither are very comfortable speaking a shared language yet when it comes to video/in-person unless you want to continue a back and forth. i feel like it also makes it hard to actually get to know them since it heavily limits expression of personality, feelings, etc. like ex i can express myself freely in my native languages but when i comes to ones where i'm

beginner/intermediate i come across completely differently than languages i grew up with. definitely doable though, and can be a fun shared goal if you learn each other's languages

He’s Moroccan and SUPERRR attractive. He speaks a bit of English and I also have Arabic background ( barely) so communication has been kind of difficult

I think you just try to make really good eye contact and like speak with your body language. Be flirty. Let him read your lips while you talk more slowly. After a couple weeks his English got better
