He was both. With him being very witty and somewhat attractive during that time, he definitely was charismatic and attractive. But I’m sure he had weird tendencies as well

From what I’ve read most people who encountered him especially in college said there was always something off about him and I’m sure he managed to put on a face and weaponize pretending to be witty and charming as he got older but there was also a reason he had to lure women with a fake cast rather than through pure charisma

The cast move was just one of his many ways of leaning on the human empathy to attack people. That’s what made him witty. I watched like 3 documentaries on him and I’m pretty sure he was socially awkward at a younger age, which kind of made him stand out
