Pepper spray, concealed carry or a good man can help with that

This is such a dumb reason for me to feel safer but I have a “wedding ring” I got myself to wear if I’m wearing more “sexualized” outfits in public (I’m COVERED but I get more ill-intended comments from men when I wear thigh high socks or fishnets). I just like the idea of having a quick “I’m engaged” out bc some men can’t take “no thank you” for an answer (and I don’t know how to be assertive with saying no lol)

If something EVER happens, instead of yelling “help me!“ yell “fire!”

She’s saying she’s out late to go to work not that she’s going out late after work

are you? She’s saying that she is out late because of her job. She’s probably getting a little bit of shopping done after her shift (if she’s retail), getting gas, getting food, whatever, at like 10:30-11:30pm

even if she was going out late a solution isn’t “socially isolated yourself” it’s “men need to be better”

When you’re walking alone at night DO NOT TALK TO ANYBODY who approaches you (even if it looks like they need help), don’t wear headphones and be alert of ur surroundings at all times.

(Coming from someone who’s worked late night shifts even in highschool and had to walk in a dangerous city at night)

It kind of makes sense but it’s still not enough to protect u from men who have ill intentions. Although it’s def important to keep yourself hidden for the most part and not wear flashy things. I used to wear boyish/baggy clothes if I was out alone at night to blend in to try and not make myself a target.

please. “a good man”. Most sexual assaults are from people you know. You never know “a good man” from a bad one until that shit happens

I’ll still stand by a good man since I have coworkers, family and a bf who I trust. I will add that a group of girls is another good way to be safe, honestly when it’s darker we will all just naturally walk to our cars together.
