It may be best to see a dietitian . If you’re in college there could be one you can visit for free on campus. And/or your insurance may cover a dietitian (possibly less expensive than some kinds of health appointments). There may be people on the internet with good advice, but there’s a lot of misinfo too, and a pro is better equipped to help (especially for anyone who’s had an ED before)
to lose weight you need to add a calorie deficit since it’s not possible to lose weight otherwise - BUT I’d suggest doing so without counting calories! trying intermittent fasting is a good idea, reducing sugar (which also helps you feel less anxious if you have anxiety), eating smaller meals and more fruits and vegetables…I’ve lost 40 pounds in the last year or so doing the above and it really required low effort too as a bonus
