So might get downvotes but I’m a guy (looking for my gf’s posts to like) but I’ve never heard of fire truck that’s terrible. Also not going to say my views but I know a decent number of pro life anti abortion women and none of them see it as “my body your choice” it’s about whether or not it’s right for a mother to have the choice to well end her baby. So the debate becomes because the baby might not be able to survive without his/her mother does that obligate her to carry it or not.
I mean you’d be pretty hard pressed to find any anti abortion people who would be against emergency surgeries to save a mothers life even if that means putting the baby at risk that’s never really up for debate. The sincere argument seems to mostly revolve around elective abortions.
Although they would also probably say that the reasoning is because the point of that would be to save the mother rather than kill the baby, but taking an action to save the mothers life doesn’t mean the baby’s life is less valuable. Once you start ranking human life with different worths that’s a pretty dangerous path that’s hard to get off or justify
