Should I start a podcast. I have what I think is a really good idea, and some room for a decent beginner budget, but no one to do it with. Any advice?

Everyone has a podcast these days. I’m not trying to be a dick but there’s a reason that there is a very strong core of popular podcasts and there’s millions you’re never heard of that are available. It’s a bloated market. Now, that’s not to say you can’t make it big on the platform but trust me you’re not the only person who “has a really good podcast idea”. Probably dozens if not hundreds of people have already had and tried your idea

I know, but I figured there's no harm in trying anyway, especially since I’m really good at networking and have connections. I just want advice on, like, how to find someone to do it with, lol. Also, I don't mean to sound defensive; I'm just explaining. I think it would be fun.

You don’t really have to do it with anyone else. Start with just yourself if you have to. Also, you’re the one that’s good at networking and connections so honestly people should be asking you where they can find someone to do something with lol

I'm good with business connections, but I'm not sure where to find people who want to be on the microphone. I was more so asking where would be a good place to meet and befriend people with similar ambitions. I know I can do it alone, but having a co-host for my idea would be much nicer.

Dawg that’s honestly for you and nobody but you to figure out. It’s not like I can point you to a website that just has a bunch of people on it waiting to be scooped up as a podcast co-host. You have to find this person on your own. Find who will work best with the content you want to make.

I know. I was asking for advice on where other people have had luck, such as with certain apps, events, or other resources. I'm not out here asking you to pull some perfect person out of your ass I literally just asked for advice

I doubt you’re going to find a legitimate podcaster here on YikYak lol. I would assume you could watch some YouTube videos on how to start a podcast. I’m sure you’ll see actual podcasters on there with helpful start up advice

Quick answers will be the downfall of this idea though. Stuff like this takes time. If you’re only doing it to quickly make money, you may as well not even try.
