But like you can’t be a gangly short ugly pushover who’ll do anything for anyone that’ll give him attention. The range of this idea varies with everyone but there is a sense of exuding an attractive, confident, masculine energy, along with emotional understanding and maturity that is emotionally attractive.

Totally agree that you have to be attracted to your partner, and thats often due to factors you can’t control. But I will say it’s generally the tends to be the more conventionally attractive and confident men who turn out to be Jerks.

That’s why it’s hard to find that balance. Like it takes a guy who’s seen the ways immature guys falter, goes to therapy and figures himself up to be emotionally intelligent and caring, and then adds back on the masculine confidence but without the toxicity.
