drive yourself, bring some sort of weapon or something you can use as one (knife, pepper spray, keys, heavy metal water bottle), share your location, text friends or someone where you’re going and update them

please stay safe !! meet him in a public place (hopefully the nature area is good enough), maybe go during a time where you think it may be a bit busier than normal so there are other people around

He asked to meet right before sundown so the weather is nicer, which is what put me off a bit. I will be taking all of these precautions, thank you.
