This is like the whole “acab” bs from 2020 with the blm riots. Grouping all of one group together and attacking them when the large majority has done nothing is stupid. “Rapists will be held accountable” makes a lot more sense.

This is specifically referencing the phrase “boys will be boys”, a phrase that explicitly excuses wrongdoings done by boys. Saying “so will girls” and “shouldn’t everyone be held accountable equally” is like responding to someone saying “black lives matter” with “all lives matter. Yes, all life is valuable and important, but the specific phrase “black lives matter” is meant to call out the racially charged violence and systemic racism black people face. So, to counter with “all lives matter” is-

-is to directly counter that phrase’s purpose of calling out that racism. Yes, everyone should be held accountable equally. However men’s wrongdoings tend to meet consequences far less than they should, like how many sh and sa cases where a man victimizes a woman have been blamed on the woman and many times the man faces far lighter sentencing than he deserves, if he’s even convicted. Even past that, this post is criticizing the phrase “boys will be boys” specifically, there is no need to-

Why do insecure misogynistic POS men immediately get defensive and deflect onto women? We can have that conversation if that’s the conversation, but right now the conversation is about men and that specific phrase. Seriously, if you were a good guy you wouldn’t take offense because this wouldn’t be offensive in the first place. What is offensive about saying men need to be held accountable? Have you done things you need to be held accountable for?

Brother I’m taking things in context. What we’ve seen recently is sole attacks on men, even men who are good because automatically we assume all men are bad. I agree all men need to be held accountable, but also we’ve seen women completely excusing other women for their actions. Thats not fair, Clancy for example, or I’ve seen many friends who have been falsely accused of rape and their lives ruined because a parent found out or word of mouth of a construal sexual intercourse.

Both should be held accountable. All men should be held accountable, all women should. You don’t make this about gender just say everyone who commits a crime should be held accountable accountable , otherwise in your logic it’s misandry. People need to stop playing victim

But that wasn’t the topic of conversation. If you want to talk about that, make a separate thread. Trying to immediately make it a whataboutism just instantly makes you look guilty, whether you are or not. Also, all this is coming from a guy. Obviously women need to be held accountable, but men are the ones who disproportionately do things they need to be held accountable for. You seem like the type of person to defend the Cornell Seven

Yea that’s what’s wrong with yall these days. Always playing the victims. Tape sucks IN GENERAL. No matter what. One you don’t get to generalize all men to that. Two you don’t get to excuse false accusations as normal. In that case if you’re so scared of being raped don’t have sex. You’re disgusting, false accusations against men ruin lives. We can’t get jobs, you ruin a family name, the persons rep, etc and for what. Those should be equal crimes and punishments.

And as for Cornell seven, I think what they did is disgusting. They’re all disgusting men. The girl is disgusting as well, she happily went there consented to all of it, as she clearly said, and then when her reputation got ruined she tried to switch her word to ruin the men’s lives. Both parties suck, it’s a shitty situation, and I think even though it was disgusting it wasn’t rape both parties were equally intoxicated. I’m not gonna argue here yall are delusional women who want to play victim

Like I said, I’m literally a man, and I can attest to how easy it is to not get rape accusations. I believe most men just don’t think what they’re doing qualifies as rape when it does. If you think there’s even a chance you’re doing something with dubious consent, then don’t do it. It truly is that simple.

You all are disgusting for not even giving anything a second of research or thought. The problem with women is 90% of you cannot mix emotion and logic at the same time, u read a headline and that’s it. You don’t go read the literal “victim’s” statements. BLM, mass migration, Cornell 7, the Islamist takeover of Syria and Lebanon. All headed and supported by women who think with emotion but can’t see the larger picture. I gotta kinda agree with you lowkey she did initially consent to some acts that would have been extremely questionable for any normal person to think about and participate in. She switched her story multiple times and after people found out about her getting freaky did she accuse the guys of rape. The guys were in the wrong but still the girl is responsible for putting herself in the situation but for some reason its all the guy’s fault.

Yes and im trying to figure out what you mean. There is no organization that all fraternities are a part of. If you’re talking about Cornell Chi Phi or even Chi Phi as a national fraternity it makes more sense, but a universal organization with different fraternities from different colleges does not exist. I’m failing to see how for example a chapter other than chi phi at a small school that is not known for its Greek life and gets 10 members a year is apart of the same corrupt organization
