nursing student! Cried not once, but twice today at clinical when my nurse and I had to deliver death news to two families. Not very girl boss bad bitch of me and now I’m embarrassed 🥹

don’t ever be embarrassed for having emotions especially in health care!!!! It’s what makes you human and an ever better future/current medical professional.

Having emotion as a healthcare worker is why those jobs will always be safe from AI or anything like that. Robots and numbers will never have the empathy and care one human has for another ❤️ crying in public is the MOST girl boss bad bitch thing to do.

When my grandpa passed away, the person who was delivering it was choking up. I didn’t view it as unprofessional, I thought it was so empathetic and reassuring that they really cared and wanted to take the best possible care of him. It gave me permission to cry, too. So don’t ever feel bad. You’re improving lives you don’t even realize

it made me feel better when the nurse helping my grandpa cried when he died. i don't think it's a bad thing. it made me feel like they cared about him until the end :)

Thank you so much 🥹 it’s so hard to remember that, I feel like we’re scolded so much in nursing school not to show our emotions so I was just so frustrated so it means a lot to hear that 🩷
