Hey! I totally see where you’re coming from. I just want to point out that some people work multiple jobs just to be able to pay rent, and a lot of debt comes from people who have multiple unexpected things happen at once

For example I saved every penny that I could. I worked multiple jobs and I have a literal fear of spending money. I had many thousands of dollars saved up by the time I was 20. Well suddenly I needed a surgery, an operation, and my car broke. That’s why it’s so easy for young people to go into debt. They haven’t been saving money for 30 years. They have the biggest cushion they can possibly have, but sometimes it’s not enough

If you read my post you’d see I admitted bad spending habits. Also some debt isn’t bad; it was still under 33% of my card limit, which is recommended to help build credit. It was just bad to be over what I have in savings; very stressful on top of being a busy college student.
