Unfortunately, reducing body fat on specific parts of the body isn’t possible. Everybody’s fat distribution is different but regardless, the only way to your tummy is by burning fat/reducing caloric intake in general. I recommend a food tracker app that helps you work on your diet/calorie intake and doing cardio exercise that helps burn fat like intervals or HITT workouts. Sorry if this comes off rude or blunt, I don’t mean it that way, just trying to pass on some knowledge I learned the hardway

No you’re all good I’ve already been cutting calories and I have a new job that has me on my feet moving for 10+ hours per day. I gained about 20 pounds the past year since I’ve been in a new and healthy relationship. I was more wondering about specific exercises and whatnot

I mean, relationship weight is definitely a thing so don’t feel too bad about it, it happens to everyone. But if you want to work on it, that’s totally valid too. The only other thing I’d say advice wise is that while your job keeps you on your feet and moving, it doesn’t necessarily sound like it’s intense work enough to get your heart rate high enough for fat burning. Staying active is great, but unless you’re doing work that gets you sweaty and panting, it’s probably not enough for your goals

I just started the job about a month ago, and I’ve definitely noticed some changes but I’m going to start doing more work outside of my job that’s more strength training

HIIT/interval workouts DO NOT work. That’s the easy way out, or the tik tok weight loss answer. The only way to reduce BF % is by cutting calories by a significant amount and doing cardio every day, along with a bit of lifting. And NO you will not get “bulky” from lifting because you most likely aren’t lifting heavy enough/eating enough protein to gain a significant amount of muscle if you are cutting cals significantly. As someone who went from 160 lbs to 117 trust this the only way

Dude relax, theres numerous routes to achieve your goals. But saying it doesn’t work and calling it TikTok advice is pretty damn rude. Sorry but you’re not the only person who’s lost weight before, and HITT worked for me, and the principles behind it are founded in biology and science. High intensity intervals help burn fat because they’re much more effective at getting your heart rate to fat burning range. But I guess that’s “TikTok science” right?

I mean icl it is. It’s low intensity and has been proven to not work efficiently or make you lose alot of weight. If you are looking to lose weight fast and a lot of it you gotta go hard

It’s a fad rn to do stuff like this and Pilates when other alternatives work better and faster

I was literally doing it 10 years ago, which was when I lost my weight so idk what you’re even on about. Idk what your problem is. If you disagree with my opinion, that’s fine, but learn how to do so respectfully. Coming in here acting like you know everything is so arrogant and immature. I lost my weight 10 years ago and kept it off ever since, but please continue telling me why I don’t know anything.
