I stopped vaping last February, I did it cold turkey. It was hard, the first like 3 weeks I was incredibly irritable. I just had to push past it. However somewhere around a month after quitting it felt like a foreign habit. I’m so glad now that I stopped, it also helped thinking about it as a subscription I was paying $50 a month for (not worth it)
It was vaping. I quit cold turkey after roughly 3 years. I have been chewing SO MUCH mint gum and it is helping a lot. Whenever I get a craving I chew gum. My sleep has been weird and my appetite has been stronger, but I am pushing through it. Yesterday I went into 711 and seriously thought about getting a juul pod—but they only had 2-4 packs of tobacco (which I don’t like). It was 7/11 and everyone was getting free slurpees so I said fuck it and grabbed a slurpee and left.
I just keep giving myself excuses not to get it. Like fuck I don’t wanna spend money. Every little minor inconvenience that shows up in the way of getting a new pod—I take it as a sign and that it is not meant to be. Day 5 now and I honestly am starting to lose interest. I still crave something, so I just keep chewing gum
