Embroidery!! It does take basic sewing knowledge (easy starter tutorials on YouTube and Pinterest (esp the latter for learning specific embroidery stitches but I’ve not gotten that far yet)) but the wooden hoop was like $3 from Walmart, a good amount of 100% cotton fabric for like $5, and so many colors of floss/thread for 57¢ each!!!

Tbf it took me like a half year to get into hand mending my clothes which is how I picked up the basics but my brain is just weird and very depressed 😅 but it’s nice cause I just trace a geometric pattern from Pinterest onto the fabric with a pencil, tighten the fabric in the ring, then slowly work to outline or just color it in!! Hardest part is separating the floss into the strands (a friend saw me learning and gave me the tip that you’re apparently supposed to do that lol)
