Finally starting my fitness journey today! If anyone has any pointers lmk, I feel like I have the hardest time being consistent but i genuinely want to feel better about myself so I wanna actually do the work this summer.

They say if you can’t do a habit daily (daily exercise isn’t always heavy weights at the gym but i’m sure yk that lol) you should do it within 2 days (48hr). so if you don’t do the habit one day, there’s a better rate of success of retaining the habit if you don’t wait more than 48hr if that makes sense

Do something that’s realistic and fits in your schedule! Better yet, something that you can envision yourself doing the rest of your life.

starting is the hardest part! most people ik who work our really love it, and continuing comes way more easily once you get in a groove.

Focus on your relationship— with exercise, with what you choose to eat, with yourself. Frame it as an act of love! It’s not punishment.
