It’s worth looking into the politics of any neofolk act before you dive in. There are a LOT of crypto fascist people in that scene.

it's a mix of dark ambience & folk music the first song that really got me into the genre was dear henry by rise and fall of a decade! :)

ngl it’s bizarre to me that this comment gets upvoted while my posts criticizing icons within our subculture for racism & flirtation with fascist aesthetics go ignored, downvoted or met with “they were just being edgy / it was a different time”
