on a brighter note i want to buy a jean jacket to make a battle jacket out of bc i want to learn how to make band patches and do art with bleach. i think that would be fun.

Have you tried buying things from an army surplus store that are at least two sizes too large yet? Specifically coats?

If there aren’t any near you there are some great online sites for it now too. ArmySurplusWorld tends to be really good. I got a coat and set of boots from there back in high school. The boots lasted me a good long while and the jacket was neat as a punk look when it was too large back in ninth grade but as I grew into it I just started using it as part of my actual hunters camo gear.
