yes it’s a music based subculture and there are many versions of goth that don’t have a ton of face makeup

yeah imo someone who actually listens to the music and understands the ethos is more “goth” than someone who saw a trendy makeup look online and decided to be goth for the weekend

Yess, it's a music base subcult so don't let tiktok/any social media let you think you have to do a full face everyday just to wear a label :). To me as long as you listen to the genres, and do what you can to be a good person in general then your goth af!!(maybe opt to wear something black over any other color most days to but that's just me lol)
