I get most of my makeup from the dollar store or drug store! I also like to reuse different makeup items, example being using eyeliner for lipstick or eyeshadow for setting powder!

Layering. Looking a bit plain? Throw on some fishnets. My personal fav is crop tops over full body lingerie. You get a peek of lace or vinyl or leather on your belly lol. And don’t forget the jewelry, it adds so much

I’m a wake for quality when it comes to products but I’m also a cheapskate. Korean beauty products are AMAZING and extremely affordable. Colorpop for palettes for eyes, they have affordable prices and w wide range of colors. Shop simple cloths off clearance racks or thrift and you create the aesthetic with add ons like belts, corsets, and jewelry. Dying your hair REALLY helps but can be pricey to get it done but box dye exists too so

you definitely have been told to thrift (and i recommend that too!) but do some research into clothing dye as well, because that opens up what you can get and lets you darken old clothes. rit dye is cheap & easy to get but bleeds and can come out weird. do your own research. i’d also recommend taking more inspo from old school goths (80s, 90s) as opposed to newer goth styles bc a lot of newer ones are more about consumerism as opposed to diy

Cuffs, spikes, and chunky jewelry are super easy to diy using old cans and thrift store trinkets, there are plenty of tutorials on yt :]

I will say beauty is gonna be a bitch of a bitch if you are black or brown skin but there are more brands that offer more range of shades now inclusivity has kinda kicked up
