Use an assisted pull up machine or use a resistance band to do assisted ones yourself

negatives!!!! use something to help you start with your chin above the bar and then lower yourself as slow as possible. can also practice holding the chin over the bar position for a while

My advice- if you can do a single pull up or even half of one, then that should be your primary way of training. Do 4 sets of 1 (or even 1/2 or 1/4) every day, it will help you way more than the assist machine. If you can’t do any pull ups, no worries, work on the assisted machine, but make sure you do deadhangs every day for as long as you can. Your body needs to get used to holding its own weight. You got this!

Personally I did hangs. I would pull myself up as far as I could and hang there until I couldn’t, for 3 sets with breaks. 1 month later I was able to do 3 sets of 10 pull ups. You got this. Consistency is key.
