Does anyone have exercises that are for the stomach and abs? I’ve been trying to do stuff for almost 4 months now, and I’m not seeing any difference, and I’m worried I’m doing something wrong

You’re not doing anything wrong. Abs show when there’s minimal body fat. Crunches are just for adding definition to already showing abs.

I love yoga to work my core. Specific exercises i like outside are pikes, leg lifts, and when i’m lifting i always tighten my core to get a bit of an ab workout in with it. But i no way do those exercises give me abs on their own I have to be in a deficit for it to happen.

Are there specific exercises to reduce body fat? So sorry if this is a stupid question, I’m new to all of this, so I’m not exactly sure what exercises are meant for what

noo not really. all exercise is going to contribute to your calorie deficit which is going to reduce fat evenly across your body BUT you can target your deep core (transversus abdominis) which will pull your tummy in regardless of your body fat percentage. Also, walking burns a higher percentage of calories from fat compared to other exercise. Feel free to ask questions, I tried not to be confusing but ik that was a mouthful

this is under the assumption of a calorie deficit so no, nothing will be converted to fat.

Also, that’s super super great for actual strength and endurance. If anyone wants their abs to show tho it’s a little different, you have to use resistance training and increase weight over time, just like any other muscle. You have to eat to gain muscle, and then you’ll have to be in a calorie deficit to lose the fat surrounding the muscles. But in my experience, the more I work out the better I feel, and it becomes less about aesthetics for me, which is why I love yoga for things like this

when you’re in a calorie deficit there is no excess how do you think weight loss works. your body burns your fat stores to make up for whatever gap is between calories consumed and TDEE. it’s called a DEFICIT because you’re consuming less than your body is burning for the day. when there is an excess you gain weight.

you have to be consuming more calories than your body needs to gain weight. bottom line

you’re not storing any new fat in a deficit, and workouts in the fat burning zone burns a higher percentage of calories from fat than other exercise like I said walking is just one of the easiest ways to sustain that rate. as I said
