I’m currently what I would call skinny fat. I’m 5’8, 124lbs and I have muscle from when I used to workout but I’m squishy and have extra fat on my stomach/legs. I want to gain muscle but lose fat and I’m not sure how to do that simultaneously

You gotta eat a shit ton of protein and do weight training regularly. You need more energy to build muscle and tone up, and your body won’t do that if it’s not getting enough input.
