What’s your most brutal motivation to lose weight? I feel like I’m constantly stuck in a cycle of doing good at the gym then not being consistent and don’t even get me started on the diet part.

OP I would advise don’t make your weight loss your only/ biggest goal, especially if it creates a lot of stressed emotions (which it sounds like it is). Instead, I challenge you to find a type of workout that makes you feel comfortable and satisfied (definitely does not have to be gym). You can try swimming in a nice pool, rock climbing, taking walks around a nature reserve, etc. The idea is to gravitate toward these activities when you need an emotional pick-me-up—>

And if you find the right ones, you’ll naturally start feeling excited to go to these activities. The weight loss will come (don’t worry), but it’ll come much easier and healthier once you start shedding the stress and self-hate

And don’t worry about diet. As long as you’re not slugging high sodium McDonalds burgers every day, you have nothing to worry about. Carbs and protein are both your friends, especially as you increase your workouts

I had a friend who had a severe eating disorder. She suffered. Stop perpetuating this bs
