I started going to the gym 5 weeks ago (consistently), when is it an appropriate time to actually buy those cute expensive sets from popular brands, im scared to look performative

I don't think that's performative, but if you anticipate major changes to your body maybe hold off on the expensive ones because my favorite sets don't fit anymore and I'm devastated 😭
