maybe you go to the gym once a week to start until it just becomes a part of your routine, then add another day, then another. slowly change your eating habits you don’t have to switch to clean eating all at once, start with 1 healthy meal a day and then increase slowly until most of your meals are healthy
I didn’t know this 😲 my main goal is to lose 30 pounds I want to be around 120 pounds and then focus on getting toned but I always feel so lazy and my diet has never been “healthy” it’s hard to just randomly implement a routine I know this are just excuses and it’s “not about motivation but discipline” 🫠
i’ve been a competitive gymnast my entire life and this is one of the worst takes i’ve heard. lifting won’t make you bulky unless you’re really trying to get bulky and even then it will take years. gymnastics is horrendous on the joints and is not based on yoga poses. and how is a weighted backpack uphill related to gymnastics whatsoever?
It isn’t bad on the joints when done as a yoga. Not the twirling in the air nor landing. The focus on getting into the poses on the rings. Basically L sit, front lever, reverse lever, human flag, and muscle ups. The muscle up can be a pose when staying static after going above the rings mid way for 5 to 10 seconds.
ok so men’s gymnastics, because that is not involved in women’s gymnastics. women’s gymnastics has a lot of impact and cardio can for sure be involved. rings are extremely hard though and they would not be my recommendation for someone who says they are out of shape, they take a lot of upper body strength that needs to be built before you’re able to do those things
