In my experience, even once they fade, they will have a little bit of paler/shinier look to them once they set in, even with good maintenance practices, so keep expectations measured and realistic-anything claiming to vanish or chemically prevent them is going to be a scam. Moisturize, sunscreen, and work on losing weight in a safe and (somewhat) gradual fashion so your skin has time to settle as you lose more weight. Loose skin and stretch marks after weight loss are totally normal.

Just put lotion on them every day and alwayssssss put sunscreen on them before they're in the sun. If your stretch marks get sunburned, you're toast. If you keep them out of the sun, keep lotion on them, and reduce the tension behind them (lose weight), they will fade on their own.

I would recommend unscented lotion! I love cetaphil and Eucerin (eucerin will make the skin really sensitive and easily sunburned though)
