Fairlife chocolate protein shakes are my best hack. 30g of protein for only 150 calories and tastes amazing. It’s also all clean ingredients

Do your best to eat more and structure actual meals at least twice a day built around protein

Aren’t protein shakes bad bc they’re unnatural

Idk I feel like other people have told me they’re bad bc they’re not natural. I still drink them but I don’t know

the protein comes from natural sources like cow’s milk, eggs, or plants (soy, beans, hemp, etc.), but it is processed to remove other components like carbs and fats. the pre-made shakes can contain other flavors and preservatives but you can control that by making your own shake with the powder separate if that’s an issue. they’re just simplified versions of the protein you already consume, and it can be easier for ppl to use as a diet supplement.

as someone who’s had vsg surgery, protein shakes are not bad. we’re told told to drink them during the pre-op and post-op diet. many have one a day for months and even years after the surgery. they’re great to get protein in if you don’t have the appetite.

They don’t taste as good though, so for someone who is already struggling to eat I think the original is probably better
