any advice for weight loss that doesn’t involve calorie/macro counting? i’ve struggled a lot of disordered eating and obsessing over healthy eating and workouts

I think tracking is a great tool but totally understand that it’s not a great option for everyone. I would suggest eating a consistent amount of food for a couple of weeks and tracking how your body weight changes. if it stays stable, decrease your portion sizes a bit. if your weight is growing up decrease portion sizes a bit more. if your weight is going down, you’re on track and just stick with what you’re doing.

the more whole foods you eat the less calorie counting is relevant

that way you don’t have to track macros or calories or anything but you can just change how much of the same foods you’re eating to get the changes you want. of course other things help with weight loss as well like lifting heavy, doing some cardio, drinking enough water, etc
