to anyone who recovered from ana… how did you deal with the weight gain in ur tummy? and when does it redistribute/go away? im trying rly hard to not relapse but i feel terrible in my body

You can’t “redistribute” fat. It goes where you naturally store fat. Based on genetics

It’s only around your stomach? It could be genetic and how your body prefers to store fat around your stomach compared to other areas like legs arm butt etc

yes i know but coming from ana the body doesnt work the way a normal persons does, like when gaining fat it wants to first put it all towards the stomach region to protect vital organs and then i heard it “redistributes” over the course of a couple months - a year when it trusts that u wont starve it again
