so like… i have anxiety and only workout at home but just got a gym membership, do i just… go there even if i have no clue what the right form is/ how to use each machine? I don’t wanna hurt myself or look dumb but also need muscle/strength lol

for context im in EMT academy and refuse to let all the guys think im weak bc Im a woman so im extremely determined and know the basics of how to lift safely but i just really don’t want to look dumb at the gym😭😭 like do i prep first or go in with a game plan? or do i just figure it out as i go?

Depending on the gym, they have QR codes on them or you can even look up the machine if you feel you are doing something wrong and watch a video, most equipment has the name of the machine on it
