It rlly depends on what you mean, skinny fat isn’t a medical term and has no real definition. If you want to bulk up or cut down, you have to do the things to support that (both of which can include running every day)

Shedding fat and not building muscle will not produce a cut, muscular look. Either one of two things will happen— either you’ll shed a ton of fat and be left with skin and bones, or you’ll only shed some fat and be left with a soft, skinny body. If a little bit of muscular curvature is what you’re looking for, you need to incorporate muscle-building weight training, as well as eat enough protein to feed the muscle growth
